Brand new to PokerTracker 4 is navigation of the program's hand replayer using keyboard shortcuts. This is about as painfully easy as it gets to click through PokerTracker's replayer, as all you have to do is hit two buttons and the poker tracking and analysis software does the rest. To find the full list of shortcuts, click on "Options" in the replayer and select "Navigation" from the menu.
So what are these shortcuts? And how can you go about using them? If you want to view the previous hand in the replayer, just hit CTRL + Left Arrow. If you're all about advancing to the next hand, hit CTRL + Right Arrow. Get the idea? If you want to watch the previous hand played, type SHIFT + Left Arrow and if you want to head to the next hand played, hit SHIFT + Right Arrow on your keyboard.
But wait, there's more. The plethora of keyboard shortcuts you'll find within PokerTracker 4 also includes first hand (CTRL + HOME), last hand (CTRL + HOME), rewind (Left Arrow), forward (Right Arrow), beginning of hand (Home), and end of hand (End). As we said, it's a pretty exhaustive list of commands for PokerTracker's hand replayer. These are definitely shortcuts that you'll want to take advantage of when reviewing your online poker hands quickly and efficiently.
In other PokerTracker 4 update news, the free trial of the software is no longer limited to a half-hour per use. And, if that weren't enough excitement, Poker Tracker 4 officials have re-enabled live support for Full Tilt Poker.
If you thought Full Tilt Poker had gone the way of the dodo, you're not alone. It was as good as dead until PokerStars purchased the assets of the site's parent company earlier this month; Full Tilt will now reopen soon. PokerTracker is quite ahead of the curve in this regard.
We'll let PokerTracker's website inform our community with the final key update that was rolled out in recent days on the program's fourth incarnation: "New tutorial videos have been added for NoteTracker and the Currency Manager. To view, click the video icon in the respective windows."
For PartyPoker players, PokerTracker has added support for the site's OS X client's hand history format. Also brand new are several stats that will surely make PokerTracker 4 users smile, Live Min Stack and Live Min Stack BB. You can think of each stat as the amount of money in a player's current stack as calculated based on the result of the last imported hand. Having these numbers at their fingertips will give PokerTracker 4 players a big leg up on the competition.
A variety of fixes were also included in the latest version of PokerTracker 4. The program was just launched commercially after extensive alpha and beta testing and, in a follow-up release on August 19, PokerTracker officials announced that they had fixed the following error: "Trial: 'Please Register' HUD message appearing on tables for registered users using the trial of a second product."
